Now, in addition to great local food, visitors to Asheville can also enjoy intimate hands-on experiences with the idealist and passionate farmers that supply the city’s restaurant scene. Chef Katie Button, owner of Curate Restaurant, goes to extreme measures to support the network of small local farmers that supply her kitchen. In Curate she tries to create regenerative experiences through the sharing good food and wine with friends and family; and she also encourages her guests to seek enriching experiences by visiting local farmers.
